I set up UpSkillion with my husband because I kept meeting brilliant, capable people who were held back by nerves, not ability. My job is to change that, with practical tools, honest feedback and a room where it’s safe to try.

The day was structured really well with us doing our talk at the start, then tips & advice on our talks from Helen and how we can make them better from controlling our nerves through to the structure of the actual talk & how to deliver it well. Ending the day with doing our talk again using everything we learnt, which was a lot better than at the start of the day. Helen is really friendly, knowledgeable and gives the advice in a way that is really easy to understand and implement. Really great course in terms of learning effective and easily applicaple techniques to apply when public speaking. Delivery was great and alot of fun.
